These Terms and Conditions govern the booking, purchase, and use of tours and services provided by New Travel Day (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “the Company”). By booking a tour or service with New Travel Day, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms:
1. Booking and Payment Terms
1.1 Booking Confirmation
All tour bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit or full payment. Upon confirmation, a booking reference will be issued.
1.2 Deposit and Final Payment
When booking, a deposit of [amount or percentage] is required to secure your reservation. The balance must be paid [number of days] before the start date of the tour. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation.
1.3 Payment Methods
Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or other specified payment methods. All fees must be paid in the agreed currency (usually USD or local).
1.4 Late Payments
If payments are not received by the due date, *New Travel Day* reserves the right to cancel the reservation, and any deposits made may be forfeited.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Customer Cancellations
Cancellations made 90 days or more before the tour start date: Full refund.
Cancellations made between 60 days before the tour start date: 75% of the tour price will be refunded.
Cancellations made between 45 days before the tour start date: 50% of the tour price will be refunded.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour start date will not be refunded.
Company Cancellations
New Travel Day reserves the right to cancel any tour for reasons including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or insufficient participants. In such cases, a full refund will be provided, or the customer may choose to rebook the tour for another date.
3. Amendments and Changes
3.1 Customer Changes
Customers may request changes to their tour itinerary (e.g., dates, tour package) up to 60 days before the tour start date, subject to availability. Changes may incur additional charges.
3.2 Company Changes
While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, or political events may require changes. In such cases, New Travel Day will offer alternatives, and a refund will only be provided if a significant portion of the tour is canceled.
4. Travel Requirements and Insurance
4.1 Passport, Visa, and Documentation
The customers are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport, required visas, and necessary Documentation to enter Sri Lanka and participate in the tour. Failure to obtain the required documents does not entitle the customer to a refund.
4.2 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, accidents, and personal belongings. New Travel Day is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft during the tour. However, we will provide the services you need in an emergency, which may cost separately.
5. Liability
5.1 Participation
Participants must ensure they are in suitable health to undertake the tour. New Travel Day is not liable for medical conditions or accidents during the tour. However, in an emergency situation, we will provide doctors or other services, which may cost separately.
5.2 Third-Party Providers
We collaborate with third-party service providers (e.g., hotels, transport companies, guides). While we ensure high standards, we are not responsible for any issues arising from their services.
5.3 Force Majeure
New Travel Day is not liable for any loss, damage, or cancellation caused by events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, political instability).
6. Tour Inclusions and Exclusions
6.1 Inclusions
Each tour package includes transportation, accommodation, meals, activities, and guide services as specified in the itinerary.
6.2 Exclusions
Unless explicitly stated, tour prices do not include international airfare, visas, personal expenses, travel insurance, optional activities, or gratuities.
7. Responsibilities of the Customer
7.1 Personal Conduct
Customers are expected to respect local customs and laws while on the tour. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour, with no refund.
7.2 Punctuality
Customers must adhere to the scheduled times for tour activities and transportation. Delays caused by a customer may result in the forfeiture of services without compensation.
8. Complaints and Disputes
8.1 Complaints
If you have a complaint during the tour, please inform the tour guide or company representative immediately so we can address the issue.
8.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be handled in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Efforts will be made to resolve disputes amicably through mediation or negotiation.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
New Travel Day reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated to customers via our website or email.
