Days 1–2 — Negombo

Day 1 — Arrival & rest: meet your private driver at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer the short distance to Negombo. Check in, recover from the flight and enjoy a quiet sunset or dinner by the coast.

Day 2 — Gentle coastal day: enjoy a slow breakfast, beach time and an optional lagoon or local fishing-village experience before your first full romantic evening.

Days 3–4 — Kandy

Travel inland to Kandy, surrounded by green hills. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, walk beside Kandy Lake and enjoy a scenic viewpoint. On the second day, choose the Royal Botanical Gardens, a relaxed spa session or private free time together.

Days 5–6 — Ella

Continue through Sri Lanka's hill country, with the scenic railway experience forming one of the highlights of the honeymoon. In Ella, enjoy misty landscapes, tea-country views and easy outdoor experiences together.

Days 7–8 — Yala

Travel from Ella toward the dry-zone wilderness around Yala. Enjoy a comfortable lodge stay and take a safari by jeep with opportunities to see elephants, deer, crocodiles, birdlife and, with luck, a leopard.

Honeymoon pace: For the relaxed version, use Day 7 mainly for the transfer and lodge time, then take the safari early on Day 8 before continuing toward the coast.

Days 9–11 — Bentota

Finish the journey with the slowest and most romantic part of the honeymoon. Settle into a beach resort, enjoy the ocean, pool, spa and private time, with optional experiences when you want them.

Day 12 — Airport Departure

Enjoy a final relaxed breakfast according to your flight time, check out and travel privately from Bentota to Bandaranaike International Airport. The transfer is scheduled with a comfortable time buffer for international departure.
